About Alexander
Alexander "Alex" has dealt with litigation ranging from small, simple, transactional matters to complex cases worth millions of dollars. Admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts, he believes every client deserves a defense and an attorney who listens to their goals and fights to achieve them, whether personal or business.
He also advises clients on rights and obligations under federal and state laws as well as business formation issues, and has extensive experience in complex litigation defense and related areas such as employment, premises liability, personal injury, business disputes, construction defects, and real estate/breach of habitability matters.
Before joining Hinshaw, he worked at several notable civil litigation defense firms. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Alex has spent much of his life in the Bay Area.

Whenever he finds spare time, he enjoys painting, woodworking, golf, movies, and spending time with his pets. He is also deeply interested in community activism and politics.
