Alec is an insurance regulatory attorney. As the former head of the California Department of Insurance’s Rate Enforcement Bureau, Alec is uniquely positioned to advise insurers and other entities subject to California’s extensive regulatory framework, including prior approval applications, market conduct issues, enforcement actions, proposed regulations, and further matters related to Proposition 103.

In addition to his regulator experience, Alec has led regulatory compliance at a property and casualty insurer, successfully obtaining regulatory approvals in several states.
