Hinshaw lawyers Tricia Pride and Thaddeus Harrell will present at the 2020 Illinois Women in Leadership Symposium on October 15, 2020. This year's symposium—the theme for which is "Pivoting to New Possibilities"—will feature several educational sessions, including those by Pride and Harrell.
Wear Your Crown With Pride
Tricia Pride will explore discrimination against women of color based on physical appearance and available legal recourse. In her presentation, Pride also will cover the CROWN Act, a new, first-in-the-nation, California law banning racial discrimination based on natural hairstyles.

Thaddeus Harrell will discuss how organizations can encourage employees to use social media for a greater good, the pros and cons of being "connected" 24/7, and strategic ways to separate—or potentially combine—our personal and professional life on social media.
