Hinshaw's Mark Carter will present "Businesses in Distress: Key Considerations for the Business Counselor" at the Business & Securities Law Section Council, Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) meeting on November 13, 2020. Carter will provide an analysis of the impact of the pandemic on small businesses, a summary of the salient provisions of the Small Business Reorganization Act and the caselaw interpreting it, current developments regarding pandemic related relief programs, and relevant takeaways for business lawyers to consider in counseling their clients during the pandemic.
