Laura Knittle to Present at Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education Fall Conference

Chicago-based partner Laura Knittle will co-present "Supporting SEL: Legal Implications and Best Practice Considerations" in an on-demand virtual seminar during the IAASE Fall Conference, October 21-22, 2021. The session will explore the legal implications and best practices in supporting student social and emotional needs, including considerations such as eligibility under an Emotional Disability, IEP development, responding to requests for therapeutic day school and residential placements, and supporting students using a multi-tiered system of support.
