Iasparro, the partner-in-charge of the firm's Rockford office, has been appointed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to serve as the next U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District. Iasparro fills the vacancy created when Magistrate Judge Lisa Jensen stepped down from the bench last year.
"We are so pleased to welcome Michael Iasparro, a seasoned litigator with experience in complicated civil and criminal matters. He will be an outstanding addition to our talented and hardworking magistrate judge bench and Rockford team," said Chief Judge Kendall in a court press release.

"I'd like to congratulate Michael on his appointment," said firm chairman Peter Sullivan. He focuses his private practice on complex litigation and internal investigations, as well as counseling clients on antitrust and compliance-related issues. Iasparro is a graduate of Marquette University Law School (J.D.) and Rockford College (B.S.). He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.
