Maria S. Quintero, a San Francisco-based partner in the Insurance Services Group at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP was appointed to serve as the National Chair for the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Extra-Contractual Committee. Ms Quintero has been a member of CLM since 2012.
The Extra-Contractual Committee gathers cutting edge extra-contractual knowledge, expertise, and resources to offer a strong platform of related educational programs for CLM members and other litigation professionals.The Committee will take a lead role in developing a framework for implementation of educational and collaborative programs for resolution executives, managers, and front-line professionals for proactive management of extra-contractual issues in multiline insurance settings to enhance good faith and achieve optimal results in resolution outcomes.
Maria devotes her practice within her firm's Insurance Services Group to assisting clients with all facets of insurance law including insurance litigation, coverage opinions, policy drafting and bad faith and extra-contractual disputes. Maria has extensive experience with commercial general liability and professional liability lines, and commercial and residential property lines.
