Kendra Basner Elected Vice Chair of the San Francisco Bar Legal Ethics Committee

Kendra L. Basner, a San Francisco-based partner in the Lawyers for the Profession® group at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, was elected as the Vice Chair of the San Francisco Bar Legal Ethics Committee. Ms. Basner's term began in January 2016 and her term will last for four years.
The Legal Ethics Committee participates in all matters pertaining to the evaluation of the standards of professional honor and conduct. The purpose of this committee is to operate an Ethics Hotline, sponsor continuing legal education (CLE) seminars, attend monthly meetings to develop programs and discuss current ethical issues to develop programs and discuss current ethical issues come together to render Legal Ethics Opinions.
Kendra Basner represents clients in a variety of litigation matters. She focuses her practice on professional liability with an emphasis on the defense of professional malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims against lawyers. She also handles general civil litigation and complex insurance coverage disputes.
