The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Hinshaw partner Jorge Maza has been inducted into the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC). Attorneys must be peer-nominated for admission into the FDCC.
The FDCC consists of leaders of the civil defense, corporate legal, and insurance industries. The FDCC serves to promote the knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits. Hinshaw partner Daniel W. McGrath, chair of the firm's Product Liability Practice Group, currently serves on the FDCC Board of Directors.
Maza is a Miami-based partner of Hinshaw's Insurance Services Practice Group. He represents insurers in insurance coverage, bad faith, and commercial litigation matters and handles high-exposure insurance disputes. Maza also serves as a Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Litigation Section.
