Insurance Litigation Attorneys Julie A. Frusciente and Katherine Kulik Join Hinshaw as Partners in Fort Lauderdale

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that insurance litigation attorneys Julie A. Frusciente and Katherine Kulik have joined the Fort Lauderdale office as partners.
"Hinshaw's insurance team is pleased to welcome Julie and Katherine, two highly experienced litigation attorneys, and assist them in taking full advantage of Hinshaw's national platform and other growth synergies, " said Rory Eric Jurman, a first-chair trial lawyer and partner in Hinshaw's Fort Lauderdale office. "Our insurance company clients will also greatly benefit from their well-known depth and experience in complex commercial litigation and first-party coverage matters."
Frusciente litigates cases involving negligence, indemnification, strict liability, comparative liability, professional liability, premises liability, automobile liability, and wrongful death for major corporations, businesses, and insurance carriers. She is an experienced and accomplished litigator handling complex commercial litigation and insurance-related matters. Prior to joining Hinshaw, Frusciente served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 insurance company and a Fortune 500 title insurance company.
Admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, Frusciente holds a J.D. from the Florida Coastal School of Law and a B.S. in Pre-Law Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida. She is also an avid runner and loves to travel.
Kulik handles a wide variety of insurance matters, including insurance coverage and first-party property. She represents insurance carriers throughout Florida as lead or second chair in trials, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations. She has successfully handled more than 70 cases pertaining to water losses, roof leaks, fire damage, property damage, faulty design, and vandalism. In addition, Kulik is well known for her aggressive approach to resolving cases through successful dispositive motions to avoid costly trials.
Before joining Hinshaw, Kulik was a partner at a Florida-based firm in Miami. She holds a J.D. from Shepard Broad College of Law – Nova Southeastern University and was on the Dean's List. She also has a B.A. from the University of Florida. Kulik is fluent in Polish.
