Hinshaw Ranked in Law360 "The 100 Best U.S. Law Firms for Women"

Law360 released the results of its inaugural "Top 100 Firm for Female Attorneys" survey on April 19, 2015. U.S. law firms were ranked on their overall and female head count numbers, based on four factors: 1) the percentage of partners, both equity and nonequity, who are women; 2) the percentage of nonpartners who are women; 3) the split between the firm's female partner percentage and female nonpartner percentage; and 4) the number of female attorneys at the firm.
Of the 308 U.S. firms that were surveyed, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP ranked 44th
The survey for women, based on the firm's female representation at the partner and nonpartner levels and its total number of female attorneys.
Almost all of these firms buck the sobering findings of Law360's 2015 Glass Ceiling Report, which found that just 33 percent of all attorneys — and a scant 22 percent of partners — at U.S. law firms are women. At many of these 100 firms, there are more female nonpartners than male, a rich potential pipeline of future female equity partners and executive committee members.
