Hinshaw Partners Ronald Kammer and Cheryl Wilke Selected as 2014 Power Leaders in Law

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that two of its South Florida attorneys, Ronald L. Kammer, a partner in the Miami/Coral Gables office, and Cheryl L. Wilke, a partner in the Ft. Lauderdale office, have been selected as recipients of South Florida Business Journal's 2014 Power Leaders in Law & Accounting.
The South Florida Business Journal's Power Leaders in Law & Accounting is a listing of leading attorneys and CPAs at some of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County's largest professional firms. The selection is based on each leader's business and professional accomplishments as well as contributions to the community.
Mr. Kammer is Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw's Miami / Coral Gables office. He focuses on the representation of insurers nationally. He has been involved in many significant cases that interpreted an insurance company's duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, as well as coverage obligations for construction defect, pollution, trademark and patent infringement claims. Mr. Kammer also practices in general civil litigation including commercial litigation, legal malpractice and insurance agents' errors and omissions. He earned his JD from University of Miami School of Law and his BA, cum laude, from Macalester College.
Ms. Wilke is the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw's Ft. Lauderdale office. She focuses her practice on the representation of employers in labor and employment matters, including litigation of FLSA, Title VII and retaliatory cases. In addition, Ms. Wilke provides comprehensive risk management programs for her clients. She counsels on all aspects of employer/employee relations, including business litigation, regulatory compliance, employment defense litigation and workers' compensation matters. Ms. Wilke also practices in the area of high-dollar commercial litigation and collections and services. She earned her JD from Stetson University College of Law and her BA, with honors, from Florida Atlantic University.
