The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Sergio Acosta, a Chicago-based partner and national leader of the firm's Government Practice Group, has been named one of the 50 most influential Latinos in the Chicago area by Negocios Now. Founded in 2007, Negocios Now is the only Hispanic business publication in Illinois and is distributed nationally in digital format.
Honorees include business owners and professionals from a variety of industry sectors, including legal, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofits and public service. The 50 Most Influential Latinos initiative is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Negocios Now, and will be accompanied by the publication of "Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago", a directory that recognizes leaders in Business, Corporate, Culture and Education, Government, Healthcare, Elected Official, Legal, Marketing, Media and Nonprofit.
"It's a great honor to be included in this list of distinguished business leaders and public servants," said Acosta. "The local Hispanic community is a vital part of the business, civic and cultural life of the City of Chicago, and for the last ten years, Negocios Now has been there to help tell our community's story."
