In part two of the latest episode of the Hinshaw Insurance Law Radio podcast, host Scott M. Seaman, a Chicago-based partner and co-chair of the national Insurance & Reinsurance Services group, talks with Jeff Sistrunk, senior insurance reporter for Law360, about some of the key insurance cases and legislation to watch for in 2018.
Jeff and Scott review the decisions Jeff covered in his article "Insurance Cases to Watch in 2018." Those cases are Medidata Solutions v. Federal Insurance Co.; American Tooling Center v. Travelers; KeySpan Gas East Corp. v. Munich Re; Pitzer College v. Indian Harbor Insurance Co.; Country Mutual Insurance Co. v. Vibram; and Office Depot v. AIG.
Next, they review several cases that Scott highlighted, including Continental v. Honeywell; and Global RE v. Century Indemnity; and then conclude with an overview of some insurance legislative and regulatory changes to watch for in 2018.
