Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that Chicago-based Adler Murphy & McQuillen LLP (AMM) has officially joined Hinshaw as of April 1, 2023. The move—which was first announced on March 9, 2023—adds 23 lawyers, along with other legal professionals, to Hinshaw’s Chicago office.
The firms share complementary civil litigation defense practices. The move results in the formation of Hinshaw’s new Aviation & Aerospace Practice Group, led by Michael G. McQuillen. John M. Kelly and Paula L. Wegman co-lead the products liability and commercial airlines sections respectively.
With almost 30 years of experience representing clients in the aviation industry, the AMM team advises commercial airlines, aircraft system and component manufacturers, airports and aviation insurance carriers.
In addition, AMM’s robust professional liability practice, led by Lawrence S. Gosewisch, expands Hinshaw’s existing deep bench of experienced litigators providing defense counsel to professionals.
