Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is proud to announce that the firm has been awarded the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's (HRCF) 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This achievement marks the sixteenth consecutive year that Hinshaw has received a top score of 100 in the CEI.
"We are delighted to receive this top score from the Human Rights Campaign, which underscores our dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within our firm,” said firm chairman Peter Sullivan. “This achievement highlights our ongoing efforts to build an environment that attracts, nurtures, and advances top-tier talent to better serve our clients."
The CEI received the highest number of rated companies since its inception in 2002, including 1,449 business participants this year, but only 765 (53 percent) achieved Equality 100 Award status.
The CEI is the nation's foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. It rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:
- Non-discrimination policies across business entities;
- Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families;
- Supporting an inclusive culture; and,
- Corporate social responsibility.
