The partnership of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP sadly announces the passing of Mitchell R. Bloomberg, a highly respected attorney and Partner in the firm’s Business Litigation Practice.
Mr. Bloomberg, who passed away on May 24, 2013, practiced law for nearly 40 years and joined Hinshaw in 2011. He represented major corporations, utility companies, financial institutions and insurance companies in commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Bloomberg was a Miami-Dade County Assistant State Attorney. In law school, he was a Sturgis Honor Scholar and a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the Society of Wig and Robe honor societies. Mr. Bloomberg was also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Dade Marine Institute.
