The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Colleen Jarrott has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of The Catholic University of America (CUA). She was recently sworn in as a Board Member in Washington, D.C. during the University's "Cardinal Weekend."
Jarrott graduated from the University with a B.A. and a J.D. She is among the CUA Alumni Association's over 90,000 members. The association "provides diverse programs, expertise, and resources that aim to support Cardinals in every stage of their lives."
Jarrott is a partner and co-leader of Hinshaw’s Energy and Environment industry groups. She advises energy companies across Louisiana on legislative and regulatory matters related to oil and gas matters and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS). With a focus on traditional and renewable energy, she practices on the cutting edge of legal issues implicated by the energy transition and technological advancements in the industry.
In addition to her law practice, she serves on Hinshaw’s Succession Planning Committee and is actively involved in strategic planning initiatives shaping the firm’s expansion. Jarrott is actively involved in regulatory and legislative initiatives related to the Louisiana Geologic Sequestration of Carbon Dioxide Act, and she serves on the Carbon Capture Committee of the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association.
