Client Success: Development Site in Fort Lauderdale's Flagler Village Sold for $14 Million

Hinshaw recently represented the owners in the sale of a 1.75 acre development site located in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village for $14 million. Hinshaw partner Ross H. Manella and attorney Ofonedu-Ime Goodwyn represented the clients in the transaction, which closed on September 29, 2020.
The site currently includes a Greyhound bus stop as well as a two-story retail building that is occupied by a Sherwin-Williams. The purchaser, developer Dev Motwani, indicated he's considering residential, retail and hotel uses for the site.
The transaction was given media coverage by The Real Deal in a story titled "Dev Motwani buys Fort Lauderdale dev site for $14M."
