Chad Kasdin Selected as One of "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch" for 2014

Chad D. Kasdin, a partner in the Chicago office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been selected by his peers and named by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine as one of 2014’s "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch." The list recognizes young attorneys who demonstrate "[i]ntelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help community and . . . a willingness to work hard at one of the country's most important professions." Nominations from more than 1,400 attorneys were submitted for the honor.
Those who nominated Mr. Kasdin praised him for his legal skills, work ethic and professionalism. Stated one nominator,"[h]is reputation among the judges and the court is extremely well received and his skills in the courtroom are impressive." Another nominator noted that, ". . . Chad is the consummate professional—always zealously advocating for his client while comporting himself with great integrity and civility. An affable and courteous advocate, his trial skills are polished, his intellect is prodigious and his oration is impactful."
Mr. Kasdin represents clients—including the Chicago White Sox, large Chicago-area hospitals, property management companies, property owners, and individual physicians and private medical groups—in professional liability, corporate tort liability, premises liability, toxic tort, medical device and product liability matters. He has tried several multimillion dollar jury trials to verdict and also has extensive experience and expertise in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
