Appleton, WI.– The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Alyssa Campbell has joined the firm's Commercial Transactions Practice as an associate in the Appleton office.
Ms. Campbell focuses her practice in business and commercial transactions in a number of areas. She handles real estate financings and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Experienced in the formation of businesses, she assists with the preparation of corporate bylaws, corporate registration, stock distribution, director's consent, subscription letters and all related corporate formation documents. She also has a transactional intellectual property practice, in which she prepares documents such as media licensing and independent contractor agreements, and end-user terms and conditions. She has an ongoing interest in the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act.
The addition of Ms. Campbell comes on the heels of Hinshaw's hiring of Benjamin D. LaFrombois earlier in 2014 and further strengthens Hinshaw's transactional prowess in the Fox Valley area. The firm has made a conscious effort to expand its offering for clients by fortifying its corporate roster.
Prior to joining Hinshaw in December 2014, Ms. Campbell was an associate in a New York firm. During law school, Ms. Campbell worked as a research assistant to Professors Danya Reda and also to Professor Ryan Bubb, and as an intellectual property research assistant to Professor Dotan Oliar. Ms. Campbell also served as a legal intern with New York's Financial Industry Regulation Authority.
Ms. Campbell earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.B.A., with honors, in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
