Russell A. Klingaman, a partner in the Milwaukee office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, authored the article "The U.S. Senate’s FAA Reauthorization Bill: Drones & Beyond – What’s in It for the GA Community?" published by the Midwest Flyer on June 2, 2016.

He then discusses several highlights of the act, which "has a large number of sections dealing with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)/drone safety and/or innovation."
