"Medical Spas Now Subject to New California Regulatory Requirements"
Hinshaw Health Care Practice Group partner Michael A. Dowell wrote an article published in the August 31, 2012 issue of the Los Angeles Daily Journal and San Francisco Daily Journal. The article discusses the increase in alternative cosmetic patient treatment sites over the last ten years, highlights important definitions of what is covered by new California legislation, and discusses the potential for increased enforcement efforts coupled with significant penalties for those entities and professionals found to be non-compliant.
