Hinshaw Partner Kendra Basner bylined an article entitled "No Time to Waste: New Ethics Rules Effective November 1, 2018," that was published in The Bar Association of San Francisco Bulletin, Legal Ethics Corner (August 2018) and Legal by the Bay, News from The Bar Association of San Francisco and the Justice & Diversity Center (July 24, 2018). The article summarizes notable changes within the 69 rules of professional conduct that will take effect in California on November 1, 2018. Every California attorney will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the new rules that replace the 46 rules that attorneys must currently follow. She highlighted significant modifications that will impact daily practice.
