Ira Gonzalez Discusses Helping Clients with Anticipated Infrastructure Boom as Federal Funding Pours into South Florida

Hinshaw partner Ira Gonzalez discussed in the Daily Business Review how Hinshaw is in position to help clients prepare for infrastructure projects as South Florida receives significant new federal infrastructure funding.
Gonzalez said that while governments typically have their own in-house attorneys to help them handle legal work, they will be looking to the private sector to assist them in taking on infrastructure projects. This work will include lobbying for funds, permit negotiations, and land-use compliance.
“Miami is certainly one of those cities, nationwide, that’s getting a lot of attention because of the magnitude of growth that we’re having and how that affects our infrastructure,” added Gonzalez.
