David Weinstein Discusses Arrest and Indictment of Florida-Based Associates of Rudy Giuliani for Alleged Election Law Violations

Hinshaw's David S. Weinstein, a Miami-based white collar attorney and former state and federal prosecutor, provided legal analysis on a CBS4 Miami broadcast regarding news that several of Rudy Giuliani’s associates had been arrested and charged with campaign finance law violations by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. In a October 10, 2019, press conference, the SDNY said that Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, along with two other individuals, had been charged with concocting a scheme to funnel foreign money to political candidates in order to buy potential influence.
