Hinshaw partner David S. Weinstein was quoted by Tucker Higgins of CNBC regarding former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort's plea deal to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of the president. Weinstein said that Mueller would not have entered into negotiations blindly: "[the special counsel's office] must have had some preliminary debriefings with Manafort and they likely are aware of exactly what information he has to offer."
