David S. Weinstein Discusses the Manafort Trial Proceedings on First News with Jimmy Cefalo

Miami-based Hinshaw partner and former federal prosecutor David S. Weinstein made a guest appearance on First News with Jimmy Cefalo on 610-WIOD Radio in Miami following the second day of the trial of Paul Manafort. The former Trump campaign manager is currently facing charges related to financial crimes and money laundering.
Weinstein noted that the prosecution—much to the dismay of Judge T.S. Ellis III—"started [the trial] off with a bang" by showing just how much money Manafort has been spending. He also discussed the tactics being used by the defense to keep the prosecution "on their toes" and what the Manafort trial means for the Muller investigation as a whole, should it go south.
