Hinshaw attorney Andrew Gordon discussed in The Daily Business Review a bill introduced in the Florida legislature that would provide Florida businesses with significant liability protections from COVID-19-related claims.
Gordon opined that HB 7 is something "that businesses in South Florida would benefit from across the board," adding that the legislation is meant to avoid frivolous lawsuits, and to provide businesses in Florida with "clarity and confidence."
