“Reply briefs: Who speaks last to the court?”
Hinshaw Labor & Employment partner Ambrose V. McCall wrote an article published in the September 2012 edition of Federal Civil Practice, a newsletter of the Illinois State Bar Association's Section on Federal Civil Practice. The article outlines issues in motion practice before the United States District Courts in Illinois, particularly in light of a recent opinion of the Seventh Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and offers Illinois counsel strategic direction to form and preserve issues on appeal.
Ambrose V. McCall is a partner in Hinshaw's Peoria office. He advises clients on a range of employment issues, including regulatory, compliance or employee program matters. Mr. McCall defends clients against claims of professional liability, employment discrimination, and civil rights. In addition, he represents a number of clients in commercial litigation and real estate litigation matters.
