Michael Marick to Present at DRI's Insurance Law and Claims Conference

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner Michael Marick will present, "Policy Limits Demands: Challenges for Insurers and Defense Counsel," at DRI's Insurance Law and Claims Conference, Current Issues Impacting the Insurance Industry on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Hartford, Connecticut.

Mr. Marick along with co-presenter Michael McMyne of IFG Companies will be presenting best practices for responding to limits demands from the perspectives of both the carrier and defense counsel, particularly when the case involves strong liability defenses or questionable coverage. The program will also address the important issues presented by burning limits policies, a policyholder's demand to settle, the potential for a collusive settlement, and the presence of excess carriers.
