Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner Michael Marick will participate as moderator in, "Special Considerations in Settling Coverage Disputes," at DRI's Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the New York Marriott Marquis, New York.
The settlement of an insurance coverage dispute may create problems for the unwary. This presentation will discuss issues arising from those settlements, including essential terms, coverage in place agreements, the impact on non-settling insurers, contributions by the insured, primary/excess issues, and the impact of bankruptcy by the insured.
