Justin Penn and John Ryan to Present at NARCA 2014 Fall Collection Conference

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partners, Justin M. Penn and John P. Ryan will present "Licensing Requirements and Their Implication on Collection Attorneys" during the Defense Bar Education Session at the NARCA 2014 Fall Collection Conference October 23, 2014. The presentation will provide an analysis of the evolution of licensing requirements at the state and municipal levels; explore specific examples of state licensing statutes and how debtors have tried to use these statutes as both a sword and a shield; and investigate ways to avoid liability.
