Jenelle La Chuisa Moderates Panel on How Emerging Legal Tech Can Transform Pro Bono

Hinshaw partner Jenelle La Chuisa will moderate a panel titled "Subsidizing Legal Tech & AI for Pro Bono – Partnerships, Models, and Impact" at the Pro Bono Institute (PBI) Annual Conference in Washington, DC, scheduled to take place on March 4-6, 2026.
The session will explore how emerging technologies can expand legal access and help close the justice gap. Panelists from leading law firms and legal tech companies, including Joanne Sprague, Director, Everlaw for Good; Kristen Sonday, Co-Founder & CEO, Paladin; and Sara Ghadiri, Pro Bono Counsel, Chapman, will share practical insights and case studies showing how free or subsidized tools are transforming pro bono work. Attendees will learn about effective partnership models among legal tech providers, law firms, and legal aid organizations, as well as the business motivations for technology donations and strategies for scaling successful initiatives.
Jenelle co-chairs Hinshaw’s Pro Bono and Community Involvement Committee in Ft. Lauderdale, and she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Service of Broward County. She has received multiple awards for her pro bono work, including the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award.
