Hinshaw Partner Robert J. Finley invited to Washington DC for Medicare and Medicaid Conditional Payment Forum

Hinshaw's Robert J. Finley will present at the 2nd Annual Medicare Secondary Payer Conditional Payment Forum on June 19 – 20, 2018 at Sheraton Pentagon City. This year's event focuses attendees on optimizing compliance for primary payers under liability, no-fault and worker's compensation plans. Mr. Finley is speaking on key developments expanding Medicaid repayment actions by State agencies in "But Wait, There's More! Medicaid Secondary Payer & Third-Party Liability." He will discuss State expansion status and Medicaid trends throughout the US, the impact of the Affordable Healthcare Act Medicaid Expansion on primary payers, and what to expect now that the Medicaid Secondary Payer and Third Party Liability Act has been delayed. Mr. Finley will also join a panel discussion on "Best Practice Tips for Medicare Advantage Plans, Assignees, Providers, and Beneficiary Claims" which explores best practice tips relating to recovery actions by Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans, considerations when responding to an assignee's claim for reimbursement, and preventative actions to avoid MSP claims by beneficiaries and medical providers.
