Hinshaw, in conjunction with the Cook County Bar Association, hosted its "Third Annual Reception for First Year Minority Law Students." The purpose of this networking reception was to honor the first-year minority law students from all Chicago law schools and provide them a networking opportunity. The reception was part of an ongoing effort to reach out and build relationships with these individuals. Each year several Hinshaw attorneys volunteer to be mentors for the students, and have since continued a dialogue with their mentees.
