Christopher Blum to Present at American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section FSLC Fall Meeting 2022
Event
Nov 11, 2022
Chicago-based attorney Christopher Blum will co-present a panel titled “Yours, Mine, or Ours? Analyzing Overlapping Insurance Coverage” at the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section FSLC Fall Meeting 2022 on November 11, 2022. Insureds may often have complementary policies and some with overlapping coverage. Although overlapping coverage is not entirely new, we more frequently see claims that implicate coverage under crime, cyber and other policies.
This presentation will discuss the following:
- Complementary policies
- How to practically manage overlapping coverage claims
- How to determine the contribution that each insurer should provide for a covered loss
- Strategies for obtaining contribution when an insurer or the insured is not being cooperative
