Construction Defects

  • After a motion for summary judgment based on the indemnity provision of a construction contract under Fla. Stat. 725.06 was denied, Veronica drafted a successful motion for rehearing on behalf of the defense. Not only was the motion for rehearing granted, but the judge's ruling on the motion for summary judgment was reversed in favor of the defendant.

  • While representing a real estate brokerage firm against claims of fraud, Veronica drafted and argued a successful motion for summary judgment based on plaintiffs testimony elicited by Veronica, which established that the case had been filed outside the statute of limitations.
