Stacy Emas protects the interests of clients facing litigation, focusing on the defense of insurance-related matters. Her background includes working with clients in cases involving premises liability, first-party property, personal injury, wrongful death, trucking accidents, and bad faith. With experience in all phases of litigation—including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and conducting depositions—she partners with her clients from intake to resolution, ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
Before joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Stacy handled casualty defense and insurance coverage litigation with a regional firm in Miami. She also furthered her civil litigation experience practicing at the headquarters of a Miami-based firm.
During law school, Stacy was a law clerk with the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. She was involved in a number of associations and activities as a student, including serving as the Chief Notes and Comments Editor for the Race and Social Justice Law Review.
