Scott Knight primarily defends clients in personal injury and property damage litigation. With a background that also includes insurance, medical malpractice and professional liability defense, Scott is able to provide clients with unique insights and simple, tailored solutions for their complex legal issues.

Involved in all phases of litigation at the state and federal level, Scott works with clients to ensure they are prepared for each step. He handles drafting of pleadings, discovery requests, and various pre-trial and trial motions, as well as the preparation needed for depositions.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Scott was an associate at a firm in Hammond, Indiana, where he maintained a broad professional liability practice, which included medical malpractice matters.

During law school, Scott was a law clerk with the Indiana State Medical Association. In addition to his other academic accomplishments, Scott was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and a participant in the Honorable Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition.
