Neda Ghomeshi represents clients in consumer financial services and commercial matters. She analyzes the financial and reputational risk exposures and settlement possibilities to provide each client with tailored solutions for their legal problems. Neda defends both individual and class action claims, including those involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Additionally, her background includes assisting in trials involving state and federal regulations, drafting custom mortgage documents, handling intellectual property matters involving trademark and copyright, and negotiating complex settlement agreements.
Neda practices regularly in state and federal courts throughout Florida. Involved in all phases of litigation—from drafting and arguing motions and discovery to conducting depositions and trying cases—Neda ensures her clients are informed throughout the process.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Neda gained invaluable litigation experience at a Miami-based firm where she worked directly with the shareholders.
While attending University of Miami School of Law, Neda worked as a fellow for the Investor Rights Clinic and served as a research assistant for Director Teresa Verges.
