As a former State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and civil attorney, Monique Lopez has experience successfully guiding clients on claims involving negligence, indemnification, strict liability, comparative liability, professional liability, premise liability, automobile liability, and wrongful death. In complex commercial litigation, she represents clients such as major corporations, business entities, and insurance carriers, providing representation and guidance.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Monique was an insurance defense litigator in personal injury claims. During law school, Monique was associate editor for the Ave Maria Law Review.

Personal

Monique enjoys spending time with her three children, her partner Paul, and their two miniature schnauzers. She also enjoys puzzles, reading, games, and sci-fi/action movies.
