Miguel A. Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez defends clients—including financial institutions and mortgage servicers—in consumer financial services, commercial, and real estate litigation. Leveraging more than a decade of experience, he analyzes the financial and reputational risk exposures and settlement possibilities to provide each client with tailored solutions for their legal problems.

Miguel has extensive knowledge and experience representing mortgage servicers in contested litigation matters. He has also represented these clients at the appellate level, writing both initial and response briefs.

Before joining Hinshaw, Miguel furthered his litigation acumen in the financial services industry with firms throughout Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Most recently, he practiced in the Ft. Lauderdale office of a North Carolina-based firm.
