Marie Grandoit advises members of the financial services industry. By analyzing the potential financial and reputational risk exposures and settlement possibilities, Marie strives to provide clients with solutions tailored to their unique legal problems. Involved in all phases of litigation—from inception through trial—she also ensures clients are informed throughout the process.
In addition to working on consumer financial services matters, Marie has handled a variety of insurance coverage issues. Her experience in this area includes advising adjusters regarding coverage and appropriate action, as well as settlement ranges.
Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Marie maintained a broad litigation practice with a boutique firm in Boston. While attending law school, she worked in the headquarters of a Boston-based regional firm, handling conflicts checks across all offices. Additionally, under Rule 3.03, Marie was a Certified Summer Student Attorney with Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and managed a wide range of housing cases.
Before starting law school, Marie was a legal assistant with a firm in Tampa. While there, she primarily conducted legal research on Florida foreclosure process and drafted fair debt demand letters and foreclosure process.
