Manuel Iravedra dedicates a majority of his practice to property insurance disputes. He handles all facets of litigation, from inception through trial, partnering with his clients to ensure they are informed each step of the way. With a background that includes litigating first-party property insurance claims for plaintiffs, Manuel brings a well-rounded perspective to his clients' defense.
Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Manuel furthered his civil litigation experience with several firms in Tampa, Florida. In addition to his insurance coverage work, he advised clients on nursing home negligence matters, white-collar criminal cases, and False Claims Act litigation. Manuel also provided litigation and transactional counsel for a large bank and its affiliates and subsidiaries in Puerto Rico, Florida, and the Virgin Islands.
During law school, Manuel represented his class in the Student Council, volunteered at the Legal Aid Clinic, and clerked for the Honorable Carmen Cerezo of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
