Megan Coughlin counsels employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters. She works with her clients from intake to resolution to provide them with solutions that are tailored to their legal issues and business goals. Megan has in-depth knowledge of all phases of litigation. In addition to preparing pleadings and motions and negotiating settlements, she has handled discovery, and prepared witnesses and exhibits for deposition and trial.

Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Megan practiced at a firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. During her tenure, she maintained a robust litigation practice, focusing on commercial litigation and local government and municipal law, as well as probate, trust, and guardian disputes.

Megan also gained experience through a number of internships and clerkships. Following her completion of law school, Megan was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Jonathan D. Gerber, Florida 4th District Court of Appeal.
