Lauren Alvarez represents the interests of individuals and businesses in litigation. Her wide ranging experience includes counseling clients on complex commercial litigation and wrongful death matters.
Involved in all phases of litigation, Lauren works with her clients to ensure they are informed throughout the process and provide them with tailored solutions for their complex legal issues.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Lauren practiced at the headquarters of a full-service Florida-based civil litigation firm, where she handled a variety of complex commercial litigation disputes.
During law school, Lauren was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. She also served as a Dean's Fellow for core subjects including civil procedure, property, torts, and elements. In addition to her other law school accomplishments, Lauren served as treasurer of the Business Law Society.
Prior to law school, Lauren was a corporate law paralegal at the headquarters of a national-based transactional firm.

Lauren views physical and mental conditioning as the bedrock for personal growth. When she is not busy counseling clients, Lauren spends her time practicing ballet, kickboxing, pilates, yoga, and meditation. Lauren’s other hobbies include hiking, gardening, exploring national parks, and watching sports.
