Keeley Sawyer represents clients in civil litigation, focusing principally on matters involving product liability, as well as personal injury and property damage. With experience that includes conducting extensive legal research, preparing discovery, and drafting motions, complaints, and briefs, Keeley is involved in all phases of litigation, and is committed to ensuring her clients remain informed throughout the process.
As a first-generation attorney, Keeley is committed to mentoring and assisting other first-generation attorneys in finding their footing in the legal profession.
Before joining Hinshaw, Keeley was a law clerk and summer associate with the firm. While attending law school, Keeley was a student clinician with the Loyola Community Law Clinic, and worked to serve Chicago's veteran population on a pro bono basis for wide range of legal issues. She also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Justice Mary Anne Mason of the Illinois Appellate Court, and as a law clerk for a personal injury law firm in Chicago.
Keeley was also a Senior Editor for Loyola's Consumer Law Review. In addition, she was an active participant in Loyola's Moot Court Honors Program, and was the recipient of the Best Oralist Award in the Chicago Bar Association's Moot Court Competition in 2019.
