Jessica Reis defends clients in litigation, focusing on disputes involving personal injury and property damage. With experience in all phases of the litigation—including drafting settlement agreements, motions, and petitions, as well as handling discovery—Jessica partners with her clients to ensure they are informed throughout the process.
Before joining Hinshaw, Jessica handled contested litigation while practicing with a firm in St. Louis. This included counterclaim defense work, risk analysis for threatened litigation, defending depositions, oversight of discovery responses, and contested trial and motion practice.
As a student, Jessica also gained invaluable experience in the healthcare industry as a legal services intern for a leading non-profit and Catholic health system. In addition to focusing her law school studies on health law, Jessica was a contributor for the Saint Louis University Journal of Health Law & Policy and served as the publication's Footnotes Managing Editor.
