Jake Elrich counsels businesses facing complex legal problems and crafts solutions for their unique issues. A majority of his practice is dedicated to life, health, disability, and ERISA litigation. Leveraging experience at both the district and appellate court levels, Jake is involved in all phases of litigation, ensuring clients are informed each step of the way.

Before joining Hinshaw, Jake was a law clerk for the Honorable Randall J. Slieter, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Rex D. Stacey, First Judicial District of Minnesota. In each role, Jake performed extensive research on a variety of legal issues and gained invaluable insight into the judicial process.

While attending law school, Jake strengthened his research and writing skills as a Research Assistant for Professor Mike Steenson and Professor Eric Janus. In addition to his other academic accomplishments, Jake was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review.
